Making Halloween Un-Spooky with Carmel Swim Academy
You know making sure your child is safe in the water is one of the most important things you can do for your family. Amidst the jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, and witches that mark the Halloween season, nothing is scarier than your family being unsafe around the water. Drowning is the leading cause of injury-related death in young children, but participation in formal swim lessons can reduce that risk by 88%. Will you make a gift to help increase opportunities to these critical programs to more central Indiana children? Any amount you can donate will help us complete construction on the new pool (set to open in the coming months!) and outfit it for expanded programs.
Carmel Swim Academy Pool to Open Winter 2023
Construction continues to progress on the new Carmel Swim Academy facility. This six-lane, 25-yard pool will be the home base for all Carmel Swim Club noncompetitive and community-based programs, which operate under the Carmel Swim Academy name. We anticipate opening the pool this winter.
2022 10 Days of Courage, Perseverance, and Giving
Carmel Swim Club’s single annual fundraiser, 10 Days of Courage, Perseverance, and Giving is back! We are thrilled to announce that this year’s event culminates on International Water Safety Awareness Day, May 15. The funds we raise through 10 Days of CPG support the construction of the Carmel Swim Academy, which will empower Carmel Swim Club to broaden and deepen community impact through our learn-to-swim programs that will help children be safer around the water.

Carmel Swimming Impact Stories – Volume 5 and 6
Carmel Swim Academy is one part of the larger Carmel Swim Club community. Carmel Swim Club’s mission is teaching excellence through swimming, for life. CSA offers a doorway to swimming through dynamic aquatics programming, including group swim lessons. To date, we’ve shared the stories of 38 Carmel Swim Club alumni. These videos detail the lasting impact swimming––particularly swimming with Carmel––has on their lives. The overall takeaway? The relationships you forge in the pool, with your coaches, teammates, and yourself, provide an enduring touchstone throughout life. Though diverse in their experiences each of these swimmers would encourage your family to “test the waters” and give swimming a try.

CSC and CSA Hosting Olympic Trials Watch Party on Midtown Plaza
The Carmel Swim Club (CSC) and Carmel Swim Academy are hosting a watch party for the US Olympic Team Trials – Swimming on Sunday, June 13 at Midtown Plaza in Carmel. The Finals Session, featuring the top qualifiers from the morning’s preliminaries, will be shown live on the big screen at Midtown Plaza. The broadcast begins at 8 PM, and CSC encourages fans to show up early to claim a prime viewing spot.
Carmel Swim Club Athletes and Alumni Ready for Olympic Trials
The US Olympic Team Trials – Swimming kick off this Friday, June 4 in Omaha, Nebraska and Carmel Swim Club athletes and alumni are ready to represent Courage and Perseverance on one of our sport’s biggest stages. This year’s Olympic Trials will look a little different in order to ensure the health and safety of all athletes, coaches, and spectators.
