This month, we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Salmon! Natalie is currently in classes at Ivy Tech, studying to be a high school science teacher (while serving as one of our Senior Staff!). We asked her a few questions so you could get to know her better:

Why did you start working at CSA?
“After spending a few years working in restaurants and retail stores, I was looking for something a little different. I came across a job listing for a swim instructor at CSA and thought it sounded interesting, so I applied and have loved it since!”

How would you describe the culture at CSA?
“The culture at CSA is one that emphasizes growth. We hope that everyone who partakes in our programs is able to see progress in their abilities and work towards their swim and fitness goals.”

Why do you think swim lessons are important?”
“Swim lessons are important because not only do they give kids a valuable life skill, but they also are a good opportunity to build social skills as well!”

What do you like most about teaching/working at CSA?
“What I enjoy most about working at CSA is the flexibility! The way the schedule works makes it a great job to have while I’m in school.”
