We know your family does more than swim lessons! That’s why we ensure you can have easy access to makeup tokens when you need to miss a Carmel Swim Academy class. Sometimes, you know in advance that you’ll need to miss a class, whether it be for a trip, appointment, performance, etc. If you know ahead of time, you can record a future absence right in the customer portal! That helps us open that spot for another swimmer to use a makeup token, or even for a swimmer to test out CSA with a drop-in class. Here are the steps to record a future absence.
Navigate to your account. We’re showing you how to do this request in our mobile app.
Select your child who will be absent.
There will be an option showing future absences.
You will then be prompted to select absence by date or by enrollment. Select enrollment and find the date your child will be absent.
You are able to leave a comment if you would like, but it is not required
Once submitted, a Carmel Swim Academy staff member will approve the request and a makeup token will be placed on your account. *It may take up to 24 hours to be approved. You will receive an email once approved. If you have reached the maximum amount of tokens your request will be denied.
After a future absence is marked, that class is now available for other students to request and use for makeups. If your plans change, and you still want to come to your original class, you must call us at 317-669-6480 to ensure no one has used a makeup token!
NOTE: Due to high demand for makeups, if you are not able to come to your makeup class, we will not reissue the token, even if we are given prior notification. Swimmers on scholarship are also ineligible for makeup tokens.
