Highlighted by five state and two national records, the Carmel High School Boys Swimming and Diving Team won their sixth consecutive Indiana High School State Championship on Saturday, February 29. Coming off of 2019’s national High School title, the team’s performance was a celebration of team chemistry. Senior Jake Mitchell was also named the 2020 recipient of the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award.
Carmel won the following state titles:
- 200 Medley Relay**
- Jake Mitchell: 200 Freestyle*, 500 Freestyle**
- Wyatt Davis: 200 Individual Medley*, 100 Backstroke*
- 400 Freestyle Relay*
